Software I wouldnt want to do without: Synchredible

Ascomp Synchredible - a really well done sync tool.

First, there is a free version for personal use. And if you want to use it for business, the registration fee is very reasonable.

Sychredible is a sync tool with a nice interface. It allows you to create a number of sync tasks with differing properties (time, folders, which type of sync, file filters etc.)

It is small, unobtrusive, and problem free smile

The only things I miss from other tools i have tested are

- sync triggered by a change

- having multiple directories in a profile (subdirectories of course work, but two different directories might be part of the same “logical” task and there you have to have 2 different entries for them)

- being able to have dynamic target names (put the date in for example) which would make it a great versioned backup tool. But then ascomp do a separate backup tool which i haven’t tested

But the tools which had those are nowhere near as easy and pleasant to use so i revert to synchredible - and will buy it to support it
