An interesting question: what books or stories you have read would you most want to see turned into films?
Now this is a tough question since many of my favorite books and stories would be hard to port over to film… too abstract or subtle or with elements that would be really hard to represent on film (mood of characters, internal monologue, imagination etc.)
I am lucky in that one of my top suggestions - “Good Omens” - is already being made in a film, and by what would have been one of my top choices to make it, too (Terry Gilliam).
The film hasnt really started yet, it hasnt really been cast yet either, so who knows when it’ll happen.
I am not the only person with wishes on that film, and here is someone’s suggestion for the casting http://www.needcoffee.com/html/goodomens.html I can see quite a few of them…
More later…
