Anyway, I have been very busy with our new company. There’s a lot of work to do, but things are looking very promising. Money’s not pouring it yet, but customers are slowly lining up so we’ll probably make it. And the good thing is the customers cover the full spectrum of our target audiences (small-to-large e commerce sites for SMBs, extranet & community sites, and newspaper/magazines) we know we were spot on in our planning. Phew! If we really can be able to pay salaries for 7 people in time, and therfore not lose a single person, i will be one happy camper!
The new owners of my old company are totally clueless and in total chaos. They cannot manage the sites, they have no idea how to do things etc.
I should be very happy with that but I am not.
For one, a lot of people I used to work with still work there, and they are working in very stressful conditions now.
Then, we spent years building some very hot stuff and the destruction of all that value is painful to see. How can they throw away leading brands and successful websites, move them to a lame “cut down” versuion and a new domain? Don’t they know how much this is worth???
Hopefully they will figure it out in the next year or so and rebuild
